Thomas Hampson, Camilla Nylund, & Kathryn Lewek Star in International Mozarteum Foundation’s Mozart Week Festival 2027

The International Mozarteum Foundation has announced programming for the Mozart Week Festival 2027.

This article only features vocal works.

Mozart’s “Così fan tutte” is presented by the Salzburg Camerata led by Ivor Bolton. The cast features Thomas Hampson, Kathryn Lewek, Patricia Nolz, Siyabonga Maqungo, Markus Werba, and Kate Lindsey. Bettina Geyer severs as director.

Performance Dates: January 22, 24, & 29, 2027


Students from the Mozarteum present a concert titled “Die Schule der Liebenden.” Kai Röhrig conducts the Kammerorchstra. Florentine Klepper directs.

Soprano Tamara Ivaniš solos with the Baborák Ensemble.

Mezzo-soprano Neelam Brader, baritone Gregor Eisenhut, and the Ensemble Bella Musica Mozarteum perform arrangements by Stefan David Hummel.

Soprano Olga Dyadiv solos with the Youth Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine directed by Oksana Lyniv. Ilya Ovcharenko accompanies at the piano.

Tenor Rolando Villazón and the Kammerakademie Potsdam perform under the baton of François Leleux.

The Mozarteum Vocal Ensemble and Akademieorchester der Universität Mozarteum present works by Mozart and Juan Crisóstomo de Arriaga. Jörn H. Andresen is the chorus master and Martin A. Fuchsberger conducts. Raimondo Mazzon accompanies on the organ.

Soprano Camilla Nylund, mezzo-soprano Patricia Nolz, tenor Klaus Florian Vogt, and bass Georg Zeppenfeld perform Beethoven’s “Symphony” No. 9 with the Wiener Singverein and Wiener Philharmoniker. Johannes Prinz is the chorus master and Christian Thielemann conducts.

Baritone Dominik Jan Milewski performs with the Accio Piano Trio.

Audun Iversen, Sally Matthews, Lydia Teuscher, Vito Priante, and others perform Mozart’s “Le Nozze di Figaro.” Michael Grandage directs. Robin Ticciati conducts the Glyndebourne Festival Chorus and Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment.

The Salzburger Marionettentheater presents scenes from Mozart’s “La finta giardiniera.”
