
Adrianne Pieczonka, Maeve Palmer, Erica Iris Huang, Colin Ainsworth, Russell Braun Among Headliners of Off Centre Music Salon’s 30th Anniversary Season Gala
By David SalazarOff Centre Music Salon will close its 30th Anniversary Season with a fundraiser gala titled “(Erik) Satie-Sfaction Guaranteed” on June 7, 2026 at Jeanne Lamon Hall, Trinity St. Paul’s Centre in Toronto.
The afternoon brings together an all-Canadian roster of celebrated artists and longtime Off Centre collaborators. Performers include sopranos Adrianne Pieczonka, Maeve Palmer, Ilana Zarankin, and Lucia Cesaroni; mezzo-sopranos Erica Iris Huang and Andrea Ludwig; tenors Colin Ainsworth and Andrew Haji; baritone Russell Braun; and bass-baritone Giles Tomkins.
Joining them are such instrumentalists as violinists Bénédicte Lauzière and Mark Skazinetsky, cellist Leana Rutt, violist Clara Nguyen Tran, harpsichordist Ryoko Hou, trumpeter William Leathers, and accordionist Joseph Macerollo. Pianists Inna Perkis, Boris Zarankin, Elina Kelebeev, Rachael Kerr, and Liz Upchurch round out the lineup. Broadcaster Tom Allen hosts.
The program includes operatic favorites from Verdi, Puccini, Donizetti, and Strauss, as well as a Piano Four Hands Overture from Rossini’s “L’Italiana in Algeri.”
Founded in 1995 by Ukrainian-Canadian pianists Perkis and Zarankin, Off Centre Music Salon has built a three-decade reputation for intimate concerts blending music, narrative, and intellectual exchange. The organization’s anniversary season, titled “Dream The Impossible Dream,” opened in October 2025 and has encompassed programs exploring surrealism, rhythm, immigrant identity, and artistic rivalry.
The gala kicks off at 2:30 p.m. local time.
