Les Arts Florissants and its co-music directors, William Christie and Paul Agnew, have announced the six laureates of the 13th edition of Le Jardin des Voix who will participate in a new production of Cimarosa’s “Il matrimonio segreto” in the summer of 2027.

The laureates are soprano Marianna Herzig (Austria), who will sing the role of Carolina as well as soprano Madeleine Prunel (France) as Elisetta. Mezzo-soprano Carmen Lazaro Alemany (Spain) will take on the role of Fidalma, while tenor Philippe Durrant (UK-China) will appear Paolino. Rounding out the cast are baritone Thomas Clough (UK) as Geronimo and bass Max Latarjet (France) as Conte Robinson.

The program begins in August 2027 with a residency at the Le Jardin des Voix academy in Thiré, Vendée.

The production will then receive its premiere in late August 2027 as the opening show of the Festival Dans les Jardins de William Christie in Vendée, France, followed by an international tour during the 2027–28 season. Christie and Agnew will conduct the production.
