Kentucky Opera Announces 2026-27 Season

The Kentucky Opera has announced its 2026-27 season.

The company will open with Rossini’s comic masterpiece “The Barber of Seville.” 

Performance Dates: Oct. 9 & 11, 2026 at The Brown Theatre


The season will continue with the song cycle “COTTON.”

Performance Dates: Nov. 20, 21, & 22, 2026 at the Kentucky Opera Center for Cultural Health


Mozart’s “Così fan tutte” will be the second opera.

Performance Dates: March 18, 20, & 21, 2027 at the Kentucky Opera Center for Cultural Health


The season concludes with Strauss’ “Salome” in a co-production with the Louisville Orchestra.

Performance Dates: May 7 & 8, 2027 at the Whitney Hall
