The Festival della Valle d’Itria announces its 2026 lineup.

Alfredo Casella’s “La favola di Orfeo” and Igor Stravinsky’s “Pulcinella,” are directed and choreographed by Anglo-German artist Jean Renshaw. Conductor Nicolò Umberto Foron leads the Orchestra e Coro del Teatro Petruzzelli di Bari.

“Il schiavo di sua moglie” by Francesco Provenzale, is the third opera production. The cast features students from the Accademia del Belcanto “Rodolfo Celletti.” Antonio Florio leads the Baroque ensemble Cappella Neapolitana. Rita Cosentino directs,

The artists of Accademia del Belcanto “Rodolfo Celletti”, accompanied by pianist Francisco Manuel Soriano, explore the French vocal repertoire of the late nineteenth and twentieth centuries, centred around Bizet’s “Habanera.”

Performance Date: July 25, 2026


Denis Krief directs “Carmen” by Georges Bizet. Fabio Luisi will conduct the Orchestra e Coro del Teatro Petruzzelli di Bari.
