The Grange Festival has announced the appointment of Malcolm Le May as the new Chair of its Board of Trustees.

Le May, who previously served as Deputy Chair and has been a long-standing Trustee of the Festival, succeeds Sir Richard Mantle, who announced last October that he would step down from the role in 2026.

“I am delighted and honored to assume the role of chair of the board of Trustees of the Grange Festival.Following our successful Festival of 2025 and our exciting program for 2026, the Grange Festival will continue its evolution as a world class arts festival built around opera,” he said, per an official press release.

The Grange Festival’s 2026 season is scheduled to run from June 1 through July 12.
