Los Angeles Children’s Chorus will launch its 40th anniversary season with “Every Child Sings,” a benefit concert on Feb. 22, 2026, at Zipper Hall at the Colburn School in downtown Los Angeles.

The concert features more than 200 singers across six LACC choirs, including the LACC Alumni Celebration Choir, formed for the anniversary with alumni from across the country, and LACC@HOLA. The program also includes performances by the Chamber Singers, Chorale, Concert Choir, and Young Men’s Ensemble.

The program includes such works as “Here’s to Song” by Allister MacGillivray. Artistic Director Fernando Malvar-Ruiz conducts the Chamber Singers, Chorale, Concert Choir, and combined ensembles, with Associate Artistic Director Fred Meads leading LACC@HOLA. Eric Lifland conducts the Alumni Celebration Choir and the Young Men’s Ensemble.

“Los Angeles Children’s Chorus is deeply committed to providing access to the transformational power of choral music to young people who reflect the region’s richly diverse racial, economic, and cultural fabric. As we observe our 40th anniversary, we proudly acknowledge all those who have been a part of the LACC family since its inception,” said LACC Executive Director Susan Miller Kotses, per an official press release.

Proceeds from the concert support LACC’s music education programs and need-based scholarship fund.
