Opera Carolina is set to perform Puccini’s “Gianni Schicchi” and “Suor Angelica.”

Maestro Stefano Vignati  will conduct the Charlotte Symphony with a cast that includes Massimo Cavalletti, Nancy Fabiola Herrera, Marina Costa Jackson, and Eric Ferring in leading roles.

The production will be performed on Jan. 16, 17, and 18 in the Queen City of Charlotte.

Vignati has perfumed at the Puccini Festival of Torre del Lago and We Opera Company. He serves as Principal Guest Conductor at the New York City Opera and as Artistic and Music Director of the International Lyric Academy, which in 2025 will celebrate 31 years of international activity.
