The Dallas Opera has announced that it will showcase the Dallas premiere of “The Little Prince.”

The opera by Rachel Portman will be performed from Feb. 6 to Feb. 14, 2026 with a cast starring Everett Baumgarten, Ayden Yang, Kyle Miller, Tessa Fackelmann, Ashley Townsley, Jacob Abrahamse, Keron Jackson, Diana Newman, Christopher A. Leach, and Korin Thomas-Smith.

Paolo Bressan will conduct the production by Francesca Zambello, which will be revived by Anna Maria Bruzzese.

“I was so taken by its wisdom, it’s exquisite sadness, and beauty. It’s an opera for all, not just for children, with a very timely message,” Portman said in a statement.
