By David Salazar

The Broad Stage in Santa Monica will present An Italian Christmas on Dec. 10, 2025.

The showcase will be headlined by tenor Pasquale Esposito. He is joined by conductor Carlo Ponti and the LA Virtuosi.

The program blends Italian and American holiday traditions, offering a selection of Christmas carols, Italian favorites, and seasonal works. Esposito and Ponti previously performed together in a tribute performance honoring Sophia Loren.

Proceeds will support music-education initiatives through Esposito’s Notable Music & Arts Organization and Ponti’s LA Virtuosi Orchestra Foundation.

Esposito has appeared in venues across the U.S. and Italy, including San Francisco Opera, the Fort Smith Symphony, the Gallo Center for the Arts in Modesto, Sacred Heart Church in Saratoga, Carmel Mission, Castello Giusso in Vico Equense, Piazza del Plebiscito in Naples, and Casa Italia in Illinois.
