
Anna Netrebko Headlines Mannheim Concert Alongside Brian Jagde & George Petean in 2027
By Francisco SalazarOn Jan. 21, 2027, Anna Netrebko will return to Mannheim for an evening of opera arias, duets, and trios.
The concert will be held at the Rosengarten, and she is set to be joined by Brian Jagde and George Petean, and the Baden-Baden Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of Marco Armiliato.
The concert will include works by Giuseppe Verdi, Giacomo Puccini, Umberto Giordano, Francesco Cilea, and Ruggero Leoncavallo.
This will be the first of several concerts performed by the trio of singers in 2027.
Netrebko is currently performing a new production of “La Forza del Destino” at the Zurich Opera and is set to return to the Royal Opera House for a revival of “Turandot.” Jagde will open the Teatro Massimo di Palermo in “Pagliacci” and will make his role debut as “Lohengrin” at the Teatro La Fenice. Petean is also performing “La Forza del Destino” at the Zurich Opera and will headline a new production of “Lusia Miller” at the Wiener Staatsoper.
