Anna Netrebko & Ludovic Tézier Lead Teatro San Carlo’s ‘Un Ballo in Maschera’

On Oct. 4, the Teatro San Carlo will present a production of “Un Ballo in Maschera.”
The production, which is sold out, will star Anna Netrebko in her anticipated role debut as Amelia, alongside Piero Pretti as Riccardo and Ludovic Tézier as Renato. They will be joined by Elizabeth DeShong, who will make her house debut and role debut as Ulrica, and Cassandre Berthon, who makes her house debut as Oscar.
Pinchas Steinberg will lead the production by Massimo Pizzi Gasparon Contarini, featuring sets and costumes by Pierluigi Samartani.
A second cast will include Oksana Dyka, Ernesto Petti, and Vincenzo Costanzo.
Performances for the first cast will be on Oct. 4, 8, and 11, while the second cast will be on Oct. 5 nd 11, 2025.
