Soprano Marie Lys has joined the roster of IMG Artists for general management.

Artist Manager Mattia Campetti will represent Lys.

In a statement, Lys said, “Being represented by IMGA is a dream come true! I have a very good contact with Mattia Campetti and I am sure that this is the beginning of a very interesting and fruitful collaboration.”

The soprano is a first prize winner of the Competition for Baroque Opera Cesti 2018 and of the Concours International de Belcanto Vincenzo Bellini 2017. She had a breakout in 2022 when she jumped in for Cecilia Bartoli in the title role of “Alcina” at the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino and recently made her debut in Verdi’s Requiem under Riccardo Muti at the Royal Festival Hall in London.

This season, Lys will make her debut in the roles of Gilda in “Rigoletto” and Angelica in “Orlando” at Opéra de Lausanne, Donna Anna in “Don Giovanni” at Opera Antwerpen and Opera Ghent, and Laodice in Scarlatti’s “Mitridate Eupatore” in a Spanish tour.
