Puccini Opera Festival Announces 2026 Season

The Puccini Opera Festival in Torre del Lago, Italy, has announced the titles for the 2026 season.

The season opens with “Turandot,” which will celebrate its 100th anniversary.

Performance Dates: July 17-August 9, 2026


The season continues with “Tosca.” 

Performance Dates: July 18-August 21, 2026


“La bohème” will return.

Performance Dates: July 25-August 28, 2026


The fourth opera of the season will be the composer’s beloved “Madama Butterfly.”

Performance Dates: August 7-Sept. 4, 2026


The season closes with “La fanciulla del West.” 

Performance Dates: August 29 & Sept. 5, 2026


The festival will present “Turanda” by Antonio Bazzini at the Parco della Musica.

Performance Date: July 9, 2026


The festival will also present Busoni’s take on “Turandot” at the Auditorium Caruso.

Performance Date: July 11, 2026


The season will also include a gala performance.

Performance Date: July 22, 2026
