92Y Will Live Stream Concerts Featuring Fleur Barron, Garrick Ohlsson

The 92Y has announced that is has no plans to cancel any of its upcoming performances, but will instead showcase them via live stream to audiences.

Among these is a recital by mezzo-soprano Fleur Barron of Mahler’s “Rückert-Lieder” and “Kindertotenlieder,” as well as Beethoven’s “An die ferne Geliebte.” Those who wish to access the concert can do so by clicking this link.

“At this point, 92Y is not planning to cancel any concert during the next two weeks of restrictions, nor during the monthlong travel ban,” the company said in a press release. “Instead, 92Y will aim to live stream each concert, without audiences present, from Kaufmann Concert Hall and Buttenwieser Hall. Where previously scheduled artists are not available due to the travel ban or other travel restrictions, 92Y plans to engage musicians based in the NY-metropolitan area who may be affected by cancelations of their own.

Garrick Ohlsson’s all-Brahm’s program with the Takác Quartet sscheduled for March 14 will also be live streamed free of charge.
