Real Filharmonica de Galicia Announces Its 2018-19 Season

The Real Filharmonica de Galicia has announced its 2018-19 season, featuring a number great conductors and performers.

For this season announcement, we will only focus on the vocal events of the season. Here is a look.

Javier Franco sings Arriola’s “Six poems from A. Machado” and Arriola’s “Three texts from Cervantes.” Maximino Zumalave conducts the program, which also includes selections from Strauss and J. Guridi.

Performance Dates: Oct. 11-19, 2018

Manuel Hernández–Silva conducts soprano Berna Perles arias from Beethoven and Mozart. The program also includes Schumann’s Symphony No. 3.

Performance Dates: Jan 30-31, 2019

Mezzo-soprano Okka von der Damerau sings Mahler’s Kindertotenlieder. Eliahu Inbal conducts the program which also includes Bruckner’s Symphony No. 7.

Performance Date: May 2, 2019
