The Opera Parallèle family just got a whole lot bigger.

The company has announced that it will bring on Marcia Lazar and Simin Naaseh to its board of directors. It will also add Nancy Roberts to the Advisory Council.

“As a clear signal that Opera Parallele continues to fuel organizational growth, we are honored to bring on three incredible women who represent strength and diversity across multiple disciplines. Each of them connects us to new relationships and opportunities to broaden our impact on stage and in our communities,” stated the OP Board President Susan McConkey.

The additions are major wins for the organization. Lazar has worked in marketing and communication over the past 40 years with such organizations as the Metropolitan Opera, San Francisco Opera, Los Angeles Opera, and Center Theatre Group, among others.

Naaseh has been the CEO and President of Forell/Elsesser. Finally, Roberts has over 20 years of experience in marketing, PR, communications, and project management at a number of different organizations.
