Earlier this year Flórez announced on Instagram that a production of “Werther” will be released on DVD from the Zürich Opera.

The Peruvian tenor is scheduled to perform Donizetti’s “Lucrezia Borgia” at the Salzburg Festival and his 2017-18 season will see him take on a number of concerts before making his making his role debut in Offenbach’s “Les Contes d’Hoffmann” alongside Olga Peretyatko-Mariotti.

The album is slated for Oct. 6, 2018.
