Donizetti’s rarely performed work gets a new recording by Bongiovanni. The new release comes from the Bergamo Festival and stars Maria Billeri, Ivan Magri, and Dario Solari. Sebastiano Rolli conducts the work.

Die Meistersinger von Nuremberg

Deutsche Grammophon continues its exclusive contract with the Bayreuth festival with its third release. The company has released two operas over the past two years and this time audiences will get a chance to see Wagner’s comic masterpiece. The production by Barrie Kosky stars Michael Volle, Klaus Florian Vogt, and Anne Schwanewilms. Philippe Jordan conducts the acclaimed production.
