Arturo Chacón-Cruz Announces Mariachi Album

Tenor Arturo Chacón-Cruz released a Mariachi album for Sony Music. 

The Mexican tenor announced that his new Mariachi album entitled “De Mexico Para el Mundo” is now available on digital platforms as well as in stores. The album includes 11 popular mariachi songs including “El Rey.”

This is the second album Chacón-Cruz dedicates to his homeland. In 2014, he released “Le Canta a Mexico,” which feature a number of popular Mexican songs including “Granada” and “Besame Mucho.”

In 2008, he was all featured in a recording of Donizetti’s “Il Duca d’Alba” and was also featured on Renée Fleming’s “Verismo” album.    

Next month the tenor goes on tour with Plácido Domingo before heading to the Royal Opera Muscat for “La Traviata” and the Palacio de Bellas Artes for “La Damnation de Faust.”
