The Berlin Wagner Group will present “Wagner’s Women: Archetypes and Inspirations” on Saturday, Nov. 15 at 7 p.m. at Concord Music Recital Hall in Concord, New Hampshire.

The showcase, presented in partnership with Concord Music School, will center Wagner’s most compelling female figures, tracing themes of power, sacrifice, and transcendence through music and narrative commentary.

The featured cast includes soprano Joanna Parisi as “The Warrior-Lover,” mezzo-soprano Rachel Barg as “The Wise Mother,” and soprano Jenny Ribeiro as “The Muse and Narrator.”

Parisi recently performed Brünnhilde in “Götterdämmerung” with the Moravian Symphony Orchestra and was a finalist in the 2024 Lauritz Melchior International Wagner Competition.

Barg has appeared with Opera Baltimore, Opera Delaware, and Opera Maine in major dramatic and lyric mezzo roles, while Ribeiro recently performed Ortlinde in “Die Walküre” with New York Dramatic Voices.

The Berlin Wagner Group is an international collective aimed at cultivating Wagnerian performance across the world.
