Italy’s Teatro Verdi Trieste has announced its 2022 season featuring modern and classic works and only Italian operas. The season opens with Chiara Muti’s production of Nicola Piovani’s “Amorosa presenza.” The opera, which will be conducted by the composer, will star Maria Rita Combattelli, Giusepe Tommaso, Aliosa Aisemberg, William Hernandez, and Adriano Gramigni.
