Saint Tikhon Choir to World Premiere Benedict Sheehan’s ‘Vespers’

The Saint Tikhon Coir will world premiere Benedict Sheehan’s “Vespers” on Nov. 11, 2022 at the Archdiocesan Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New York.

Soloists for the performance include Glenn Miller, Timothy Parsons, Fotina Naumenko, Enrico Lagasca, Michael Hawes, Zackery Morris, and Tynan Davis.

Following the New York premiere, the ensemble heads to Wilkes-Barre, PA to present at the work at St. Stephen’s Pro-Cathedral on Nov. 12, 2022. That will be followed up by a Nov. 13 performance at the First Presbyterian Church of Bethlehem. The ensemble will be joined by the Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts.

“Vespers” is the fourth recording by the Saint Tikhon Choir, which has received two Grammy nominations since its inception in 2015.
