London’s Wigmore Hall has announced the first part of its 2021-22 season. Here are the vocal highlights.

Elizabeth Llewellyn and Simon Lepper perform an evening of Finzi, Puccini, Verdi, and Walton.

Ed Lyon and Theatre of the Ayre join forces for Boësset, Cavalli, Dowland,  and more.

Performance Date: Sept. 5, 2021

Sabine Devieilhe and Alexandre Tharaud perform an all-French program of music by Debussy, Fauré, Poulenc and Ravel.

Performance Date: Sept. 12, 2021

Roderick Williams, Rowan Pierce, Kathryn Rudge, James Way, Robert Murray, and Christopher Glynn perform Hugo Wolf’s “Italienisches Liederbuch” in a new English translation created and directed by Jeremy Sams and Christopher Glynn. Louise Shephard directs the work.

Performance Date: Sept. 18, 2021

Mark Padmore and Till Fellner perform music by Schubert and Schumann.

Performance Date: Sept. 19, 2021

Shanté Campbell directs “An Inconvenient Black History of British Musical Theatre 1900-1950.” The performance will be presented by Sean Mayes and Sarah K. Whitfield with singer Jonathan Andrew Hume and soprano Esme Sears. The program will include music by Blake, Cook, and Hunter.

Christina Landshamer and Gerold Huber piano perform music by Schubert.

Christian Gerhaher, Isabelle Faust, Anne Katharina Schreiber, Timothy Ridout, Danusha Waskiewicz, Jean-Guihen Queyras, and Christian Poltéra perform Berlioz, Schoeck, and Schoenberg.

Julia Kleiter, Ema Nikolovska, Christoph Prégardien, Florian Boesch, Olivia Warburton, Kieran Carrel, James Baillieu, and Richard Stokes star in a Wolf Song Gala celebrating the launch of the book “The Complete Songs of Hugo Wolf: Life, Letters, Lieder” by Richard Stokes.

Diana Damrau and Maciej Pikulski perform a program of Duparc, Granados, and Obradors.

Gweneth Ann Rand, Allyson Devenish, Sarah Daramy-Williams, and Adjoa Andoh showcase “In the footsteps of…” with music by Dvorak, Duparc, Poulenc, Satie, Hahn, Strauss, Copeland, Rodgers, Moore, Thompson, Wallen, and Ishmael. They will also perform spirituals.
