Opera D’Amore has postponed its upcoming concert to May 20, 2021.

The showcase, which was set for December 19, 2020, was postponed due to ongoing concerns over COVID-19.

In a statement, the company said, “We are in full concern and support of the safety of our cast and crew. Therefore the Opera D’Amore show will, unfortunately, postpone its livestream due to the inability to have a safe show and also because of the implemented lockdown measures.”

The company will continue to sell tickets for its new date.

The concert is set to feature Jose Carreras, Maria Guleghina, and Marco Berti in a program of operatic highlights including music by Verdi, Bizet, Puccini, and Mascagni. The performance will also feature soloists Nadia Krasteva, Kiril Manolov, and Ilina Mihailova with the Sofia opera & ballet orchestra and choir under the direction of David Giménez.
