Kathryn Lewek, J’Nai Bridges, Matthew White, Ryan McKinny & Heidi Middendorf Lead Cincinnati Opera’s 2026 Season

The Cincinnati Opera has announced its 2026 season.

Strauss’ “Salome” will star Kathryn Lewek, Alfred Walker, Chad Shelton, Michelle DeYoung, and Zach Borichevsky. José María Condemi directs the production, with Robert Spano conducting.

Performance Dates: June 18 & 20, 2026


Kevin Day’s and Tifara Brown’s “Lalovavi” will be directed by Kimille Howard and conducted by Kevin Miller. Brittany Olivia Logan, Talise Trevigne, Morris Robinson, Adrienne Danrich, Zoie Reams, Terrence Chin-Loy, Michael Preacely, and G. Thomas Allen.

Performance Dates: July 9 & 11, 2026


J’Nai Bridges, Matthew White, Teresa Perrotta, Ryan McKinny, and Kayleigh Decker star in Bizet’s “Carmen.” Paul Curran directs and Ramón Tebar conducts.

Performance Dates: July 25-August 2, 2026


Ricky Ian Gordon’s “Orpheus and Euridice” will be conducted by Stephen Mulligan and star Heidi Middendorf and Christopher Pell. Audrey Chait directs with choreography by Yoshihisa Arai.

Performance Dates: July 28-August 1, 2026


The company will present Studio Sessions at Music Hall’s Wilks Studio, offering an artist-curated, up-close, and personal performance experience.

Performance Dates: June 25 & July 1, 2026
