The Young People’s Chorus of New York City is set to present an annual Gala Concert & Benefit Dinner at Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Frederick P. Rose Hall in New York City on March 16, 2026.

The evening will celebrate the transformative power of music while raising crucial funds for programs that serve over 2,000 young people across all five boroughs of New York City annually. The Gala concert features a musical journey through American culture and song in celebration of the nation’s 250 anniversary. 450 young choristers will take the stage alongside special guest artist Joyce DiDonato, in a program led by YPC Founder and Artistic Director Francisco J. Núñez and Creative Director Elizabeth Núñez.

In a statement, Núñez said, “YPC’s gala is a celebration of what becomes possible when young people are given the opportunity to discover their voices. This evening helps ensure that our choristers continue to grow in confidence, artistry, and hope for the future.”

All proceeds from the event directly support YPC’s award-winning after-school choral program, in-school music education initiatives across 17 NYC schools, and College Bound program, which ensures that 100% of YPC’s graduating seniors continue to higher education.
