The Bolshoi Theatre is set to hold a gala for Aida Garifullina on Sept. 5, 2025.

The soprano will be featured in a special evening alongside the Bolshoi Theatre Symphony Orchestra and conductor Anton Grishanin.

She will be joined by Svetlana Zakharova, Vadim Repin, Evgeny Mironov, Ivan Gyngazov, Semyon Antakov, and Irina Shishkova.

Putin Supporter Valery Gergiev recently took over the Bolshoi Theatre for a be a five-year term under an order signed by Prime Minister Mikhail V. Mishustin.

Garifullina is one of the most popular artists in the world with 1.7 million followers on Instagram. An operalia winner, this season she is set to perform at the Royal Opera House, London, Bayerische Staatsoper, and Opéra national de Paris. She is also set to perform in Uzbekistan alongside Andrea Bocelli.
