
Carmela Remigio, Maria Viviani, Timoteo Bene Junior, Said Gobechiya Star in 2026 Vicenza in Lirica Festival

Mozart’s “ The Marriage of Figaro” features Said Gobechiya, Erica Artina, Claudia Mavilia, Ignas Melnikas, Elisabetta Ricci, Maria Viviani, Huigang Liu, Fabio Sabadini, Agnese Funari, and Alberto Spadarotto. The Voc’è Choir and Colli Morenici Orchestra perform. Alberto Spadarotto is the choirmaster. Costumes are by Ester Campagnaro and Anna Fabris.

Carmela Remigio, Daniela Barcellona, Luis Magallanes, and Luca Pisaroni star in Rossini’s “Petite Messe Solennelle.” They are joined by the Iris Ensemble Choir conducted by Marina Malavasi and the Orchestra of Padua and the Veneto. Alessandro Vitiello conducts.

Soloists who participated in the masterclass led by Barbara Frittoli present a program featuring arias and opera duets from by Mozart.

Rossini’s “The Barber of Seville” is performed by the Tullio Serafin 2026 Opera Competition winners. Natale De Carolis directs. Scenes are by Matteo Corsi and costumes are by Elia Baccarin. The Orchestra of the “A. Pedrollo” Conservatory of Vicenza is conducted by Marco Titotto.

“Il filosofo di campagna” by Galuppi is next. Nicola Zambon, Ginevra Brogio, Maria Viviani, Timoteo Bene Junior, and Enrico Rinaldo perform. Marco Bellussi directs. The Orchestra of the “Agostino Steffani” Conservatory is conducted by Massimo Donadello.
Performance Date: Sept. 14, 2026
The Festival concludes with Monteverdi’s “L’Orfeo.” in a co-production with the Sabbioneta Chamber Opera Festival. Soloists are yet to be announced. Set design is by Cesare Scarton and costumes are by Giampaolo Tirelli. Stefano Lorenzetti conducts.
