Vienna State Opera 2017-18 Live Stream: Elina Garanca & Roberto Alagna Star As ‘Samson et Dalila’

Before the Met showcases Elina Garanca and Roberto Alagna in “Samson et Dalila” this fall, audiences around the world will get to hear the duo live from the Vienna State Opera as part of its live stream series as the showcase on Friday, May 18, 2018, will be presented globally online.

The production will be conducted by Marco Armiliato and will also feature Carlo Alvarez and Sorin Coliban.

The performance kicks off at 7 p.m. local time and ends around 10 p.m. For those in North America, the start time is 2 p.m. EDT and 11 a.m. PDT.

Per the official website, tickets start at 14 euros (approximately $16 USD) and can be purchased right off the Vienna State Opera’s streaming website. There are options for monthly subscriptions to future performances on the service depending on users’ preference for experience opera from the comfort of their homes.

Next up on the slate of live streams will be the remaining installments of “Capriccio,” “La Traviata,” “Rigoletto,” “Der Freischütz,” “Lohengrin,” and “Falstaff.”
