Scottish Opera 2018-19 Season To Feature Thomas Allen, Emma Bell & Adam Smith

Scottish Opera Announces 2017-18 Emerging Artists
The Scottish Opera has announced its emerging artists for the 2017-18 season. The artists that will participate this season include mezzo Catherine Backhouse, composer Samuel Bordoli, baritone Alexey Gusev, conductor Patrick Milne, costume trainee Ellen Murgatroyd, baritone Alex Otterburn, and mezzo-soprano Laura Zigmantaite. Scottish Opera Reveals 2017-18 Season Which Will Showcase Babies
The Scottish Opera has announced its 2017-18 season, which will feature Verdi’s “La Traviata” opens the season in a production by Sir David McVicar on Oct. 19, 2017, at the Theatre Royal Glasgow. There will be subsequent performances at His Majesty’s Theatre, Aberdeen, Eden Court, Inverness, and the Festival Theatre Edinburgh. The Scottish Opera has announced its 2017-18 Season presenting a total of four staged productions. The season opens with Sir David McVicar's production Verdi's "La Traviata." The title role will be shared by Russian-Dutch soprano Gulnara Shafigullina and Anush Hovhannisyan, who will be representing Armenia at Cardiff Singer of the World 2017.
