Violinist Yury Revich will lead the “Dreamland Gala” at the Theater an der Wien on Thursday, Nov. 22. The event is set to take place as part of the “Friday Nights With Yuri Revich” series.

The concert, which will dedicate proceeds to UNICEF in Austria will feature such vocal artists as soprano Sumi Jo, as well as Hasmik Papian and Ute Lemper. Other artists in the lineup include UNICEF Ambassador Christiane Hörbiger, Mercedes Echerer, Markus Freistäatter, Liudmila Konovalova, Thiago Soares, Yuliya Draganova, Simone Di Crescenzo, Brendan Goh, Vana Gierig, and the Choir of Amadeus International School.

“‘Dreamland’ is a great opportunity to see the UNICEF Roadshow, a unique touring exhibition designed to make UNICEF’s work accessible to as many people as possible,” says the official UNICEF website regarding the event.

“The proceeds of the gala benefit the project ‘Water for the Syrian School.’ The Austrian Andreas Knapp leads the reconstruction of the water supply of schools in Syria. He will also attend the gala and report live on the progress of his work on the ground. A possibility that rarely expresses itself!”
