Sondra Radvanovsky Headlines Palm Beach Gala

Sondra Radvanvosky will perform at Palm Beach Opera’s annual gala.

The soprano will participate in the company’s largest annual fundraising event.  The concert will be an intimate recital and is considered “a perennial highlight of the Palm Beach social calendar.” Palm Beach Opera’s Gala brings together opera lovers and community leaders to enjoy an extraordinary evening of music and song while supporting one of the communities most enchanting and beloved art forms. David & Joan Genser of Palm Beach will chair the opera’s 2018 Gala.

The goal of the gala is to bring together opera lovers and community leaders to enjoy an extraordinary evening of music and song while supporting one of the community’s most enchanting and beloved art forms.

Radvanovsky is one of the biggest stars in opera and is slated to open the Metropolitan Opera’s 2017-18 season in the title role of Bellini’s “Norma.” Next season she also makes her role debut as Maddalena in Giordano’s “Andrea Chénier” and Paolina in Donizetti’s “Poliuto.” The soprano will also appear in Verdi’s “Il Trovatore” and “Un Ballo in Maschera” at the Paris Opera. This summer she performs Verdi’s “Aida” in Orange.

The gala will take place on Feb. 15, 2018, at The Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach.
