The San Diego Opera has announced its dates for Opera on the Concourse throughout the 2018-19 season.

The series of free lunchtime concerts returned in 2015 and averages 300 audience members per performance. They generally last 45 minutes and this season there will be a total of three concerts scheduled across the season.

The first of these performances will be set for Thursday, Oct. 25, 2018 and will feature performers from the company’s production of “The Marriage of Figaro,” though the company has yet to release which of the artists will be participating in any of the lunches. That production will feature Emily Fons, Ashraf Sewailam, and John Moore, among others.

The second lunch will take place on Thursday, Feb. 7, 2019, with performances from the cast members of “Rigoletto.” Among those performing in the company’s production of the Verdi opera are Stephen Powell, Alisa Jordheim, and Scott Quinn.

The final Opera on the Concourse event is set for Thursday, April 4, 2019, this time with singers from “Carmen.” Among those performing the opera this season are Ginger Costa-Jackson, Robert Watson, and Scott Conner, among others.
