Sabine Devieilhe, Julie Fuchs, Florian Sempey & Aušrinė Stundytė Headline Streams from Opéra National de Paris

The Opéra National de Paris will stream Jean-Philippe Rameau and Louis Fuzelier’s opera “Les Indes Galantes,” and Dmitri Shostakovich and Alexander Preis’ “Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk” on MEZZO TV.

Les Indes Galantes” stars Sabine Devieilhe in the roles of Hébé / Phani / Zima, Jodie Devos as L’amour / Zaïre, Julie Fuchs in the roles of Émilie / Fatime, Florian Sempey as Bellone / Adario, Edwin Crossley-Mercer as Osman / Ali, Mathias Vidal in the roles of Valère / Tacmas, Alexandre Duhamel as Huascar / Don Alvar, and Stanislas de Barbeyrac as Don Carlos / Damon.

Leonardo García Alarcón conducts the Cappella Mediterranea in the production by Clément Cogitore. The performance also features the Chœur de chambre de Namur and Maîtrise des Hauts-de-Seine / Chœur d’enfants de l’Opéra national de Paris. The opera was filmed on Oct. 10, 2019 at Opéra Bastille .

Streaming dates: March 14 at 9 p.m. CET, March 16 at 5 p.m. CET, and March 19 at 9:30 a.m. CET

Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk” showcases Aušrinė Stundytė in the role of Katerina Lvovna Ismailova, Pavel Černoch as Sergey, Dmitry Ulyanov as Boris Timofeevich Ismailov, and John Daszak as Zinovy Borisovich Ismailov. The cast also includes Sofija Petrovic, Wolfgang Ablinger-Sperrhacke, Oksana Volkova, and Alexander Tsymbalyuk.

Ingo Metzmacher conducts the Orchestre de l’Opéra National de Paris in the production by Krzysztof Warlikowski. The opera was filmed on April 16, 2019.
