Royal Opera House To Stream ‘Turandot’ On Youtube & BP Big Screens

The Royal Opera continues it BP Big Screens series on July 14, 2017 with “Turandot.”

The live stream will be shown on the Royal Opera’s website and on YouTube and will be available for a further 30 days after the live stream.

The opera will also be broadcast free to 14 screens around the country, from Newcastle to Brighton, with pre-screening beginning at 7 p.m. local time. The performance is slated to start at 7.30 p.m. local time.

The production by Andrei Serban will star American soprano Lise Lindstrom in the title role, French tenor Roberto Alagna as Calaf and Polish soprano Aleksandra Kurzak as Liù. The performance will be conducted by Dan Ettinger.

Last year the Royal Opera House did the Big Screen series and showcased Verdi’s “Il Trovatore” starring Francesco Meli and Lianna Haroutounian.
