Roberto Alagna & Aleksandra Kurzak Beneift Concert In Puerto Rico

On Feb. 6, 2018, Roberto Alagna and Aleksandra Kurzak will perform in concert in San Juan.

The concert will be held at the Conservatory of music of Puerto Rico and is being organized by CulturArte Puerto Rico in aid of the students and teachers affected by hurricanes Irma and Maria. Furter details are expected to be revealed later in the month.

Alagna and Kurzak are currently preparing “Pagliacci” at the Metropolitan Opera, which is set to open on Jan. 8, 2018. Alagna will also perform “Cavalleria Rusticana” with Ekaterina Semenchuk and Eva-Maria Westbroek.

The couple then goes to Vienna for performances of “Otello” and “Turandot.” Kurzak is also slated for “Otello” at the Hamburg Opera. Meanwhile, Alagna will also take on “Samson et Dalila” in Vienna and Paris. The tenor also makes his role debut (and his first German opera) as “Lohengrin” at the Bayreuthe Festival with Anja Harteros, Waltraud Meier, Georg Zeppenfeld and Tomasz Konieczny.
