The Indiana Symphony Orchestra has announced its 2017-18 Season with many great singers scheduled to perform.

The biggest headline of all revolves around Renée Fleming making her ISO debut on opening night. The concert is scheduled on Sept. 23 featuring conductor Krzysztof Urbański. That said, the program remains a mystery and will be announced as the concert date draws nearer.

Baritone Thomas Hampson will also perform during the season with Kelly O’Connor. The program, also conducted by Urbański, will feature Mahler’s beloved piece “Des Knaben Wunderhorn.”

As part of the “Mozart’s Final Year” section, Urbański will conduct two concert performances of the composer’s “The Magic Flute.” Casting has not been announced though the performances are schedule for June 2018.

Broadway diva-turned-opera star Kelly O’Hara will also make an appearance with the Orchestra in Music by Rodgers and Hammerstein while Audra MacDonald will bring her stunning voice to Broadway hits.

The season will also include Joshua Bell, Vadim Guzman, Jennifer Koh, Alisa Weilerstein and a concert performance of the Academy Award-winning film “La La Land.”
