Piotr Beczała Concert in Wrocław Postponed Due To COVID-19

Polish tenor Piotr Beczała has announced on his official Facebook account that his concert at the Narodowe Forum Muzyki in Wrocław has been postponed due to the worsening epidemiological situation.

Beczała was supposed to perform with the Polska Filharmonia Kameralna Sopot and the program for the concert included works by Verdi, Puccini, Massenet, Moniuszko, Giordano, and Mascagni.

“Dear friends, I am sorry to inform you that the concert in Wrocław scheduled for October 21 has been postponed due to the epidemiological situation 😞 I will inform you about the new date of the concert as soon as it is set. Stay safe! Love, Piotr,” the tenor wrote on his social media page.

Next, Beczała is set to perform the title role in Massenet’s “Werther” in November and December 2020, before taking on the role of The Prince in Dvořák’s “Rusalka” in January 2021 at the Wiener Staatsoper.
