Palau De Les Arts Announces New General Director

Francisco José Potenciano has been named General director of the Palau de les Arts.

The former economics director of the theater was recently named general director after the theater announced its 2018-19 season. The news also comes at a time when the company is in search for an artistic director, a position that Davide Livermore held until the end of 2017. The company’s music director Fabio Biondi was also let go with Roberto Abbado taking over.

Potenciano is the President of Ópera XXI, la Asociación de Teatros, Festivales y Temporadas Estables de Ópera en España.
