Operantics Launches New Fundraiser For 2019 Season

By David Salazar

Independent company Operantics has announced a campaign to raise funds for its 2019 season.

Operantics, an artist-run company, is launching the campaign with the support of the Australian Cultural Fund, where, per a press release, “supporters can make tax-deductible contributions towards the next chapter of the company’s story.”

The campaign will feature fundraising recitals and performances that will all culminate in the launch of the season and the announcement of the company’s 10th mainstage production at the start of 2019.

The company launched in 2015 with the aim of making opera more accessible. “Operantics’ artists and creatives are as passionate and hardworking as they are talented and take their pursuit of the professional opera stage seriously. Several of their artists are now working on the professional opera stage with Opera Australia, establishing themselves as artists abroad, and are being seen in the finals of prestigious singing competitions around the world,” stated the press release.
