Opera Vision 2017-18 Preview: National Theatre Prague Presents Martinu’s “Michelle’

Opera Vision will start streaming “Michelle” from the National Theatre Prague starting on March 3, 2018.

The work by Martinu will feature Alzbeta Polackova, Peter Berg, Ondrej Koplik, Petr Levicek, Yevhen Shokalo, and Michael Zajmi, among others. Jaroslav Kyzlink will conduct the National Theatre Prague Orchestra.

The stream kicks off at 7 p.m. local time. That’s around 2 p.m. EDT and 11 a.m. PST for the start time. It will be available for repeat viewings on Opera Vision until June 2, 2018.

The streaming service is free through OperaVision, which, per its official website, is a project “supported by the European Union’s Creative Europe program, OperaVision builds on the success of The Opera Platform, with more contributing opera companies from more countries, under the editorial supervision of Opera Europa, the European association of opera companies and festivals. OperaVision brings together 30 partners from 18 countries and invites you to travel and discover the diversity of opera from wherever you want, whenever you want.”

Next up on the slate of live streams will be “Cavalleria Rusticana,” “Aida,” “Blaubart,” and “Eros & Psyche.”
