Opéra Royal de Wallonie-Liège Launches Daily Streaming

The Opéra Royal de Wallonie-Liège has launched a streaming platform showcasing opera for free.

The platform, entitled “Opera at Home,” will update with new broadcasts every Saturday. The company is working alongside partner Oxymore Productions for this free stream.

The company began its streaming with recent productions of “Anna Bolena” starring Olga Peretyatko; “Carmen” starring Nino Surguladze’; “Don Carlos” with Gregory Kunde and Ildebrando D’Arcangelo; “Madama Butterfly” with Svetlana Aksenova; and “La Clemenza di Tito” with Patrizia Ciofi and Anna Bonitatibus.

The company is also partnering with Mezzo to broadcast productions of “Macbeth,” “Carmen,” and “I Puritani.”
