Opera Omaha Announces New Director of Marketing & PR

Opera Omaha has announced that Rebecca Brown will be its new Director of Marketing and Public Relations.

Brown previously served as the Executive Director of Sioux City Community Theater in Iowa as well as the Marketing and PR Manager for The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens. Per a press release, “Brown was recognized as one of Palm Springs Life’s 40 Under 40 in 2014 for her achievements in nonprofit partnership and relationship building.”

“I’m thrilled to join Opera Omaha and embrace the opportunity to combine my passion for performing arts and my love of nonprofit work with an innovative organization that is broadening the perception of opera in the community,” she stated regarding her new position.

Opera Omaha is prepping for its 2018-19 season, which will include “Pagliacci,” “L’Elisir d’Amore,” “Les Enfants Terribles,” and “Faust.”
