Opera Maine Announces Cast for ‘Le Nozze di Figaro’

Opera Maine has announced that it will showcase a new production of “Le Nozze di Figaro” in July.

The production will open on July 25 with an additional showcase on July 27. All performances will be presented at the Merrill Auditorium.

The famed Mozart opera will directed by Stephen Lord with a cast that includes Keith Phares, Maeve Höglundas, Robert Brubaker, Robert Mellon, Danielle Pastin, Hongni Wu, MaryAnn McCormick, and Kevin Glavinas.

“Le Nozze di Figaro” will be the opera featured as part of Macy’s new “Opera For All!” initiative.

In addition to the production of “Le Nozze di Figaro,” the company will showcase four performances of Jake Heggie’s “Three Decembers” which will star mezzo-soprano Raehann Bryce-Davis, soprano Symone Harcum, and tenor Yazid Gray.
