Opera Carolina’s 2018-19 Season To Feature Three Productions

Opera Carolina has announced its 2018-19 season, featuring three opera productions and a number of rising stars. Here is a look at what this season will offer.

Sarah Coburn sings the title role in Donizetti’s “La Fille du Regiment” with David Walton as Tonio. Steven Condy rounds out the cast as Suplice.

Performance Dates: Nov. 10, 15 & 18, 2018

Alyson Cambridge takes on the title role of Bizet’s “Carmen” with Dario di Vetri and Alex Lawrence.

Performance Dates: Jan. 19, 20 & 24, 2019

Tchaikovsky’s “Eugene Onegin” gets revived with Metropolitan Opera star Alexey Lavrov in the title role and Melinda Whittington as Tatiana. Sebastien Gueze rounds out the cast as Lensky.

Performance Dates: May 5, 9 & 11, 2019

All performances will be at the Belk Theater.
