New York Opera Fest 2018 Preview: Regina Opera Company Takes on ‘Aida’

By David Salazar

With the New York Opera Fest 2018 officially underway, OperaWire will be showcasing small previews for each major participant at the festival, as we did during last year’s event. However, we are doing things a bit differently this year and giving the floor directly to each company to speak to you, the reader, directly. Enjoy!

The New York Opera Fest is rife with new operas and new interpretations of old classics. But for those looking for a taste of the traditional, Regina Opera Company is the place to go.

This season, the company is going to take on the grand opera of grand operas – Verdi’s “Aida” in a production that features orchestra. This should undeniably be one to watch for those in love with Verdi’s timeless classic.
