Medici.TV will livestream the Zaryadye Concert Hall’s Grand Opening gala.

The concert will see Valery Gergiev conduct the Mariinsky Theatre and a number of Russian stars including Anna Netrebko and Ildar Abdrazakov, as well as Yusif Eyvazov, Daniil Trifonov, and Denis Matsuev.

The concert will include music by Rimsky-Korsakov, Rachmaninov, and Tchaikovsky, among others.

The new concert hall has a tropical garden on the roof, 1,600 seats, and Moscow’s largest organ constructed by French artisan organ builders.

Netrebko, Abdrazakov, and Eyvazov have been headlining huge galas in Russia this year. Most noticeably, they recently headlined the opera gala for the World Cup in Red Square and also performed during the closing gala for the World Cup at the Bolshoi Theatre. Gergiev conducted the opening night gala.

The concert will be held on Sept. 8, 2018.
