Valery Gergiev and  Juan Diego Flórez are set to appear on medici.tv this weekend.

The concert, which will be held at the Odeonsplatz, one of Munich’s most beautiful public squares, will showcase music by Mozart, Donizetti, Berlioz, Massenet, Verdi, Puccini, and Rimsky-Korsakov.

Valery Gergiev will lead the Munich Philharmonic in what will be his third high profile concert of the summer. Gergiev previously led the Sommernachtknozert with Anna Netrebko and the World Cup opening gala with such stars as Flórez, Netrebko, Plácido Domingo, Aida Garifullina and Yusif Eyvazov.

Flórez is set to have a memorable summer with his return to Pesaro and appearances in Salzburg, and Gstaad, among others.

The Munich concert will be held on July 14, 2018, with BR Klassik and Unitel Classica co-producing the evening.
