Matthew Polenzani To Headline Palm Beach Opera Gala in 2019

The Palm Beach Opera has announced that its 2019 gala will be headlined by renowned tenor Matthew Polenzani. The event is slated for March 2, 2019 at the Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa.

Polenzani is coming off one of his finest seasons in years, drawing rave reviews for his work at the Metropolitan Opera in “L’Elisir d’Amore,” which was streamed live in HD and was recently showcased on PBS. He is also coming off a successful role debut run of Verdi’s “Luisa Miller” at the Zurich Opera House.

In addition to his engagement with the Palm Beach Opera next season, Polenzani has a full slate. On May 18, 2018, he will appear in Verdi’s Requiem before heading to the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden to take on “La Bohème” and the Ravinia Festival for a concert. He then heads to the Lyric Opera of Chicago for his signature “Idomeneo” before more “Bohème” at Teatro Massimo in Palermo. And right before this Palm Beach gala, he will role debut “Iolanta” at the Met, give a recital in Carnegie Hall in January and February 2019.
